Yeah, this is right off the back of our Rogues Versus Brotherhood of Mutants Dual episode. Silver Samurai is a mutant X Men villain, but he's never been part of the Brotherhood of Mutants, but he has been part of Big Hero six, which is what we're going to be reviewing in our next episode. This episode's going to tie into that. Really, I don't know he was a part of that team. That's awesome, nice tie in. He was the original leader of the team actually, But I'll get all into that later on this episode when we break down the characters histories and abilities before simulating one thousand fights and finding out who would win.

Last week, we asked which trailer was better the Blue Beetle official trailer or the Spider Man Across the Spider Verse trailer number two, and why it was kind of like pitting Blue Beetle against Spider Man, which we've actually done an episode on, but it was great to hear what your answers were. We have three honorable mentions and one No Prize winner to go over, so let's go ahead and do it. Our first honorable mention goes to Nate, who said, Hey, it's one of the bums that did not answer last week, and also this bum does not edge trailers, but I can tell you I'm probably equally excited for both movies DC.

4:27 On one hand, it is Oo Beetle who has not been in the limelight which deserves it, and Across the Spider Verse, which is a sequel to a phenomenal movie. So with it being a tie, you know, I'm just gonna go with the better of the two, Marvel, So across the Spider Verse. Yeah, you're right, Marvel is the better of the two, So you gotta go with Spider Verse. I still got to commence someone who has the willpower to not watch trailers. That's insane to me. I wouldn't be able to do it. I honestly, I would be like a meth addict at my computer that it exists out there, but not being able to click on it and shaking and sweating and stuff, just like scribing your bathroom floor with a toothbrush, like the trailers out there. Can't see it exactly. Our next honorable mention goes to Brandon Estergard and he said, hey, guys, going with Across the Spider Verse on this one. I really liked the action and the trailer as well as a humor. It gave a lot of insight on what the main conflict of the story is going to be.

5:27 And the animation and art styles between all the other Spider Man were amazing, including Ben Riley's Scarlet Spider. Yeah, this was by far the best trailer that we've gotten for the Spider Verse thus far. You know, like the last few trailers have kind of sucked actually, but this was the first preview that gave us an idea of what the movie's going to be about, and therefore I think was the most exciting. So great answer, Brandon. Gotta say, though, Brandon, where's the Team DC loyalty? Though? Bro, Like, you're a member of Team DC. Why would you go against us? Is what I'm saying. Because he is a man of honor and truth. He's not gonna lie. He's not gonna tell you Blue Beetles better when it's not Dory. I'll switch over his color to red on Discord after this episode, and I'll like get great answer, Brandon. Our final honorable mention goes to Dustin Belcolm, who said, what's up, Johnny and Joe this Dustin and hopping in real quick to tell you that it's of course a Spider Verse. Are you freaking kidding me? Like it shouldn't even be a discussion for one Spider Man's like s tier level hero and Blue Beetles like c at best. But that said, Spider Verse just has me more hyped.

6:33 We've had the first one to go off of. It has that same feeling, that same characters, and I think that one's going to be just a much better movie and it looks really cool. So yeah, I have no notes on this one. It was a ten out of ten answer from Dustin Belcolm. I thought it was really well done. We have the hype from the first one. The animation looks incredible, and Spider Man is an S tier hero, whereas you know, Blue Beetles merely c class. I have notes. I have plenty of notes. Everything he said was a lie, and actually that's it. That's that's just one big note. I should say, that's a lie. Just lies ran over and over again, exactly.

7:14 Yeah. Yeah, but those are all the honorable mentions. The winner of this week's no Prize is Maggie Matagian, who said, Hey, what's up, guys? Does Maggie and you already know I'm going to say Blue Beetle the trailer was way better than Spider Verse. I saw both of them before the Mario movie, and I was so excited to see Blue Beetle like live action on the big screen and the Cloud Sword made me so excited to see how the filmmakers will be creative with his power set. And then the Spider Verse trailer came on. It was I made me kind of tired. I kind of tired just talking about it. One of the reasons I would agree with Maggie is that Spider Verse. I mean, it was a great trailer. I'll be the first to admit that, but we've seen that before.

7:57 Like it's not new really in this sense that we've already had a Spider Verse movie that looked amazing, that looked great, and the story was great, but we've never seen Blue Beetle in live action. So the novelty of it was just so much greater than what I got from the Spider Verse trailer. Well, I got to tell you the reason that I ended up giving Migge the no prize win on this one, who was out of pity because he was the only person who thought that the Blue Beetle trailer was better, and so I just you know, felt bad for the poor soul. He's not the only person I say that, He's the only person that called in to say Blue Beetle. So, yeah, here's your pitty Award. No, Miggie, here's your Badass Award because you're a badass who speaks the truth like a badass. Goots again to Migge for winning this week's no Prize.

And now that that's done, what's in the news? All right? This past week, we got a nice surprise in the first teaser trailer for the upcoming Marvel's movie. I think my biggest surprise when this came out was the fact that we were getting it so early, considering the film got pushed back to November, and you know, teaser trailers don't usually come around until about, I don't know, six or seven months before the movie comes out. Man, I remember when teaser trailers used to come out a year before the film's release. I don't think this is too early. I guess you're right, considering like we get our first look at the summer movie schedule around Thanksgiving. But I'm really glad that we got it because honestly, I had no idea really what to think about the Marvel's movie. I knew I was excited for it, but I didn't know what to expect coming from director Nia da Costa, And I was totally floored by this preview, like I had so much fun with it. It looks like one heck of a good time. I don't know how much of that was induced by the Beastie Boy song Intergalactic the kind of riff that they did on it in this teaser, but it looks incredible. It got me hooked. Like honestly, I wasn't the biggest fan of the first Captain Marvel movie. I did like Miss Marvel the TV series, and I guess I liked Wanda Vision, probably not as much as other people did, But overall, this trailer absolutely did its job, because I'm pretty pumped for this movie now. It looks like it's going to be good times. I think the best thing that the film appears

10:20 to do is kind of change up our expectations of a team up type film. You know, we've gotten lots of team up movies in the Avengers, and this is a team up film, but in a different way than you would normally expect because they're constantly swapping places with each other, so it's all three team members but sharing the same individual space. I mean, at least for a portion of the film. I think it's interesting and unique in the fact that they didn't ask to be a team, and they don't necessarily want to be a team, but it could sort of thrust upon them. That scenario alone, I think is gonna make for some really interesting watching. But the trailer starts off with Monica Rambo in space on what looks like the Alpha Flight space station, but they call it Saber here, I think she's still in an Agent of Sword, and maybe Saber is just the name of the station. But she goes up to the jump points that we know exist throughout space that help starships travel throughout the galaxy faster. You know, we've seen them in Guardians the Galaxy volume two and in Captain Marvel. Right, they're analyzing this jump point outside of Earth and Monica Rambo touches it, which is stupid, but it seems pretty much in keeping with her character, considering that's how she got her superpowers to begin with. You know, she approached the hecks that the Scarlet Witch had created and just went into it. She has to stop touching random shit, right if it's like a shimmering energy wall.

11:39 Just stay away, just leave it alone. But what happens as she ends up swapping places with Miss Marvel Kamala Khan who comes floating through space totally freaked out, totally hilarious, and she sees Nick Fury and she's like, oh my god, this is an Avengers test. I thought that was a really great intro to the trailer. I laughed out loud the first time I saw it. I loved I loved Tyler. Her screen turned into like excited laughter upon saying Nick Fury. Yeah, And of course she knows who Nick Fury is because she's such a diehard Avengers fanatic. Right, Yeah, she's a big fangirl. That's true from the comics. I love how they still incorporate that. In the film, Monica Rambo ends up in space fighting these Cree warriors, and in the trailer, Captain Marvel ends up in Kamala Khan's closet where she has a bunch of fan posters of Captain Marvel up on the walls.

12:26 Really great setup. I think all three actresses look to be bringing their a game. I think Bree Larson looks great with her new costume. I really like the new design and like the hairstyle. Photon looks hella sweet, like those outfits that she wears, like the sort of astronaut outfits, and the one that Photon gets later on just looks so incredible, like better than I would have even pictured it. And even Miss Marvel gets a costume upgrade and it doesn't look half bad. She ditches the mask, which I think is a good thing. Yeah, yeah, I agree visually everything about the movie. I can't say any bad thing about it. I think the cinematography looks amazing, the costume design, the set design looks like it's going to be a visual feast, and not just because the flerkins will be eating everything up. We got to see Goose again in this trailer, which I thought was a funny moment, but also a herd of florkin kittens walking down the stairs, which I think is going to be both adorable and horrifying, which is awesome. It's a great mixture. One thing that did annoy me about the trailer, if I could say one bad thing about it, is that Kamala Khan was so whiny and screamy in this Like every scene she was in.

13:33 Yeah, the trailer made it seem like that was like ninety nine percent of her character, and hopefully that's not the case. But yeah, the whole reaction to the Flirkin thing was it was a little bit over the top performance wise, but we'll see how it goes. My favorite shot of the entire trailer was when they were going up against the main villain of this movie, who is a gender swapped cree bad guy called Darbin. They're going up against her and they're like swapping places as they're blasting. It was such a cool shot there. Yeah, it was interesting. That's going to be really cool scene. I think, Yeah, I don't know how it's going to play out choreography wise, but I bet you it was quite the conundrum to figure all that out, and I bet she's going to play out great. The lash out of the trailer is Kamala Khan asking them if they're a team, and they're both like, no, no, we're not a team.

14:13 But she like is basically set on them being a team and is really excited about it. So I thought that was cute. It's really making me wish that this movie wasn't pushed back out of the summer movie slot into winter, because now that we've seen this teaser, all I want to do now is watch the movie. I mean, this summer season is super competitive, so I think it'll do pretty well in November. Actually, hopefully, hopefully it's a good movie. Hopefully it lives up to this teaser, honestly, because I think this teaser is amazing and might even be a contender for Best Trailer of the Year for twenty twenty three Brothers Awards because it was just that good. But speaking of the Marvels, that brings us to our question of the week, Which hero is your favorite out of Captain Marvel, Photon and Miss Marvel and why? Yeah, I think that's gonna be a tough question to answer. I thought all three of them were great in the trailer, but I'm curious to hear what our listeners thought. In other Marvel news, we learned this past week that Mia Goth, who is the star of films such as X and Pearl and the recent Infinity Pool starring Alexander Skarsguard, she has been cast in Marvel studios upcoming Blade movie starring Mharshala Ali, and it's got to be as a vampire. I mean, she's a vampire. She took like a vampire in real life. I haven't seen any of her films, but I have been following like Pearl and Infinity Pull and stuff like that, noticing that she's been getting a lot of critical acclaim for her performances. She's kind of become this breakout scream queen. So it seemed absolutely one hundred percent fitting that she would join Blade, which is Marvel's kind of horror adjacent franchise. Yeah. I haven't I seen anything she's in either, but I hear nothing but rave reviews for her performances, so I'll be excited to hear what character she's going to be playing. The main rumor going on right now, which I want to believe with all of my soul, is that she's going to be playing Lilith, who in the comics is the mother of all demons and her Offspringer called the Lilian. It was actually she that led to the formation of the Midnight Sun's Team, which is like Marvel's supernatural hero group, whom you can learn more about in our Justice League Dark Versus Midnight Sun's dual episode. There's another version of Lilith and the Marvel comics who is the daughter of Dracula. So maybe it's some kind of like amalgamation between the two Liliths. Interesting. That sounds cool, That sounds awesome. Beyond Dracula himself,

17:00 I think Lilith would be the coolest character to have as a villain in a Blade movie. So again, despite the fact that her being Lilith is just a rumor, I really hope that it is in fact true. Yeah, considering the fact that we've already had Dracula as the villain in a Blade film, Horrible Blade Film, Blade Trinity, Yeah, it makes sense that they wouldn't want to go that same direction, and it seems like Lilith would be the next best thing. We'll be telling you guys who she's playing as we learn who it is. In our final bit of news, we learned last week that Frank Grillo of Crossbones Fame and the MCU will be doing the voice of Rick Flagg Senior in the Creature Commando's animated series for Max formally known as HBO Max. But we'll soon be just Max. Who's Max. So that's awesome casting. I think I'm not sure if Frank Grillo could pass off as the father of Joel Kinneman, but I still really like this casting.

17:52 And since Crossbones is dead in the MCU, it makes sense that Grillo would jump ship to DC. But he's the only Marvel actor that's a part of this Creature Commando series. We also have Maria Baklova who will be playing Princess Elana. Yeah, and she does the voice Horror Cosmo the space Dog in the Guardians of the Galaxy three movie. Right, And we also have David Harbor from Stranger Things and Black Widow. He will be playing Eric Frankenstein, but also Sean Gunn, who does the mocap work for Rocket Raccoon and also plays Kraglin in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies. He is going to be the Gi Robot and reprise his role as Weasel from the Suicide Squad film. Other casting includes in Geera Varma who will be playing the Bride of Frankenstein, Zoey Chow who's going to be Nina Mazerski, and Alan Tutik will be Doctor Phosphorus. Solid cast, really solid. These characters are also signed on to portray the live action version of these characters when we see them in live action, probably for like the Amanda Waller Show and maybe Peacemaker season two. I think all of these Marvel actors that are going over to DC are a bunch of trains and they should not be allowed back into the MCN No, I'm kidding. We already know that, Like David Harbor is going to come back for the Thunderbolts movie. I'm sure if you have the rest of the cast might be back as well. But it's nice to see such a talented cast.

19:12 Yeah. I love the Creature Commandos as a team. If you're not familiar with them, I spoke about them in our Frankenstein versus also Bloodstone dual episode, so make sure to check that one out. We don't know exactly when the show is going to come out, but we do know that the first season, which will be seven episodes, will be on Max next year. Who's Max? Oh my gosh. But I think that does it for all of the news for this episode. Let's go ahead and move on to the main event where we find that who's going to win in a battle between the assassin Cheshire and the mutant Silver Samurai. Okay, Cheshire versus Silver Samurai.

20:03 Of course we're doing this episode and lead up to our review next episode of Big Hero six. And when coming up with a dual matchup for Silver Samurai, there are a lot of options, a lot of swordsman characters, but ultimately us and the executive producer has decided to go with Cheshire because we're just a fan of the character. I think in an ideal world, if we could do it all over again, we probably would have picked Cheshire against Elektra and Katana against Silver Samurai. But I think this is a great matchup as well. Yeah, it's the next best thing. I don't know much about Cheshire. I think my largest exposure tour has been from the Catwoman Hunted animated movie. She was a badass in it, So I'm really interested in hearing more about her. She seems like like a ninja type character. So this match is almost like a ninja versus samurai type situation. Yeah, for sure, we're gonna find out who's finally gonna win. Yeah, they're each bringing something interesting to the table, like Silver Samurai has his energy weapons, but Cheshire is like the master of poisons. Yes, or so I've been told. Yes, you've been told correctly. But let's go ahead and turn to our sentient dual simulator. Alfred Jarvis nine thousand AJ. Tell our listeners how you go about determining a winner in our dual matchups? Yes, of course, sir. The way I determine a winner between the contestants is by running one thousand Monte Carlo simulations using the character's statistics. A Monte Carlo simulation is a probabilistic model used to determine outcomes through random sampling. In this case, I randomize the statistics along a normal distribution as a way to simulate the

21:33 many variables that can occur during battle. The stat parameters are based on the official Marvel Power grid, from which the DC character's statistics are extrapolated. Additional stack categories are included, such as range, damage, potential, versatility, and perception in order to create a more detailed and accurate simulation. The results of the one thousand simulations provide a percentage of wins for each character. The contestant with the higher percentage is declared the victim, as they have a higher probability to win any given battle. In an equitable pairing, neither character should win one hundred percent of the matches. The comic book stories have shown that there's even a way for Batman to defeat Superman, so the confidence rate of my method falls in line with the precedents that have been established in the source material. My mathematical simulations are without subjectivity or bias. Feats are not the sole consideration, nor a fan votes tabulated for determination of the winner. Thanks agree nine thousand. Before we run the simulations, though, we like to break down each character's histories and abilities before improvising a scenario on how we imagine one of the one thousand simulations would play out. Beat for beat, and I believe it's my turn to go first with a DC character's backstory, So let me tell you all about Cheshire now Jade Nuyan, was born to a Vietnamese mother named Anna and an an adoptive French father, Andrea Chalmont, though Jade later learned her real father was US Senator Robert Pullman, who had abused and raped her mother. For the age of ten, Jade had been separated from her parents and roamed East Asia for years before being caught and sold into

Still a child, Jade killed her master and was later found by a Chinese revolutionary named wank Chon, a master martial artist and expert in guerrilla fighting tactics, who taught Jade everything he knew as they traveled across Asia as mercenaries. At age sixteen, Jade married a renowned African assassin named Kruin Messinda aka the Spinning Cobra, who trained her in the lethal usage of exotic poisons. They were married for two years before Kruin died, after which Jade began her solo career as the beautiful yet deadly assassin Cheshire. Her notoriety eventually drew the attention of the United States Central Bureau of Investigations or the CBI, who had recruited and trained Green Arrow's former sidekick Roy Harper for undercover missions, tasked with gaining Cheshire's trust in order to capture her. Roy and Cheshire instead grew feelings for each other and began a romantic relationship. Realizing he wouldn't be able to turn her in, Roy abandoned her, not realizing she was pregnant at the time. Nine months later, Cheshire gave birth to a baby girl named Leon. When words spread to Roy, he and Nightling tracked Cheshire down and stopped her from assassinating a group of diplomats. Cheshire poisoned Roy and escaped, leaving Nightlink to administer an antidote and Roy to raise Lean as a single father.

24:32 Cheshire later saved death Strokes life in exchange for his help in stealing nuclear missiles from Russia. Successful, Cheshire held the world for ransom, blowing up the capital city of the Middle Eastern nation of Karak to prove she wasn't bluffing. Death Stroke, who you could learn more about in our Death Stroke Versus Deadpool episode, betrayed Cheshire, however, and the international organization Checkmate invaded her base and forced her to flee. After forming a all team of female assassins known as the Ravens. Cheshire allied herself with the immortal villain Vandal Savage, who formed an organization named Tartarus with the goal of breaking down the Titans, in which Roy Harper was a member and in which you can learn more about in our Titans versus x Man team dual episode. During good confrontation with the Titans, Mandel Savage shot Cheshire in order to distract Roy, who saved her but also turned her into the authorities for her crimes and karak. Cheshire was sentenced to life in prison, but was broken out by the Ravens. It was during this time that Cheshire learned that Senator Robert Pullman was her father and what he did to her mother. Cheshire orchestrated a plan poisoning the Sensei of Lady Shiva in order to draw her out. You can learn more about Lady Shiva in her dual match against shank Chi. After defeating Lady Shiva, Cheshire attempted to frame her for the murder of Senator Pullman, but her plan was foiled by the birds of Prey and Black Canary was forced to least Cheshire to prevent Lady Shiva from killing her, Cheshire was later blackmailed into joining the team

26:06 of anti heroes, the Secret Six, when it was revealed that a small bomb had been implanted in her daughter Leon's head. Cheshire re formed a relationship with the team's unofficial leader, Catman, and before long she became pregnant. Determining that she had a replacement child should Lean die, Cheshire left the team and later betrayed them to their enemies, a villainous group named the Society. For her betrayal, she was shot by death stroke. Chester survived the bullet wound, however, and went into hiding in the Himalaya Mountains with her new son, Blake. After putting hits on each of the Secret Six members except for Catman, Cheshire personally poisoned the Secret Six team member, the Mad Hatter, offering the antidote to Catman in exchange for her and her son's safety.

26:52 Cheshire was later caught and imprisoned, though she was visited frequently by Roy and their daughter Lean. Broken out by the Justice League, she was nonetheless imprisoned with the rest of the team on the planet of Salvation. Not long after her return to Earth, the villain Prometheus destroyed Star City, with Leon being one of the victims who died. Cheshire blamed Roy for Leon's death and attempted to kill him, though the two ended up grieving together instead. Cheshire's son, Blake, was kidnapped not long after and seemingly killed as well. Katman, believing his son dead, went on a murderous rampage, only to learn that the kidnapper had given Blake to a loving family, and that the kidnapping itself was intended as a revenge against Cheshire for a family she had poisoned and killed in the past. Katman allowed Cheshire to believe that Blake was dead, and an effort to overcome her grief, Cheshire took a job to assassinate a cult leader, but failed. When death Stroke pointed out that she lost her edge after the death of her children, Cheshire agreed to train under him as a part of his own team of Titans, which she also persuaded Roy to join. After several missions, Deathstroc revealed that he had assembled a healing machine called the Methuselah device that was capable of healing his son Jericho and also resurrecting Lean. Cheshire wanted to accept the offer, but Roy refused saying that their daughter was in a better place. Cheshire and Roy then helped destroy the Methuselah

28:26 device. In post flashpoint continuity, Jade was fully Vietnamese and her daughter Leon didn't die, but suffered from amnesia. A member of the League of Assassins, Cheshire was hired on separate instances to kill Accoman One, Roman and Batman, though the heroes managed to survive. While allied with the Brotherhood of Evil, she defended the team's leader from Roy Harper, whom she nearly killed before being stopped by Roy's Titans teammate Donna Troy. Not long after, Roy died and Cheshire attended at his funeral in secret. In an attempt to flee the League of Assassins, Cheshire abandoned her daughter Lean in a Gotham City church while she set forth on a path of redemption alongside Catwoman. Cheshire and Lean were later reunited, and that's her history so far. Abilities wise, Cheshire is a master martial artist trained in multiple fighting forms, even if you considered lost to time triple jointed. She's also a highly skilled acrobat and contortionist, and is an expert in stealth and deception. As well as poisons and toxicology.

And that's Cheshire. Sometimes I've seen her with like these wolverine claws, like coming from her wrist from like a bracer she wears on her forearm. Is that pretty standard or was that just a catwoman hunted? I think that's just an animation in the comics. She has the fingernails, it's sort of like her signature weapon. Are they like metal press ons or something. No, I think it's her actual fingernails dipped in poison. Yes, I kind of liken her to the poison Ivy of the Titans team. She's just like this seductive, poisonous fem fatale. Well that's pretty interesting.

30:17 It almost seems like the way this match is going to go is like whoever gets like the first good shot on the other person is just gonna win. It's gonna be a defensive battle, I think, to avoid even getting hit because Silver Samurai has a pretty cool mutant power. Let me tell you all about him so Silver Samurai's real name is Kenwichio Harada, and he was born to an unknown mother, making him the illegitimate son of crime Lord Shinyan Harada, who is the head of the criminal clan known as Klan Yashida in Japan. Though Kenwichio admired his father Shinyan, his illegitimate birth meant he would never become his father's heir to the family crime organization. He grew resentful and jealous of his half sister, Modrico, who was the true successor of Klan Yashida and the eventual fiancee of the Wolverine, whom you could learn more about in our Hawkman versus Wolverine dual episode. In an attempt to forge his own path, Kenwichio studied history and mastered the disciplines of the samurai of feudal Japan, distorting his code of bushido to serve and be loyal to the Almighty Dollar instead of any single lord. During his training, he discovered that he was a mutant with the innate power to surround his weapons in tachion fields. Tachionic particles have theoretical mass that travels faster than the speed of light. Essentially, he could create highly powered energy fields around his katana and other bladed weaponry.

31:42 Kenwichio became a mercenary for hire, donning himself in samurai armor and taking the name of the Silver Samurai. He first worked as a bodyguard for the villain known as the Mandrill, which put him out odds against the hero Daredevil. Kenwechio then served under Viper, an agent of the evil organization Hydra, where he fought against the likes of Spider Man, shan Chi, Black Widow, Nick Fury, and Shield the International Law Enforcement Organization. Eventually, his father's Shinian died in a duel with Wolverine, and Morico became the new ruler of Klan Yashida and planned to turn the family criminal organization into a legitimate business empire. This infuriated Kinwichio, who believed his half sister was unfit to lead.

32:27 He constantly undermined Morico as she began transforming Klan Yashida, kicking out the Hand Ninja group who had been their allies under her father's rule. Unfortunately, that would be her undoing as the Hand poisoned her, forcing Wolverine to end his fiance's life to prevent her from a painful death. At that time, Kenwichio finally became the new head of Clan Yashida. Rising up in influence, Kinwichio was pulled away from the clan by the Japanese government, who asked him to lead their new state sanctioned superhero team called Big Hero Six. He accepted their offer and led Honey Lemon, Gogo, Tamago, Hiro Takachiho, and his robot bodyguard Baymax, who could transform into a dragon. Together with the mutant hero Sunfire, the team saved the city of Tokyo from ever Wraith, who was the astral embodiment of all those killed in the Hiroshima and Nagisaki nuclear attacks.

33:21 Kenwichio enjoyed being a hero and helped Big Hero six establish itself, though in doing so he was ineffective in leading Klan Yashida, which was soon taken over by the Mongolian criminal organization known as Klan Kaishek. Kenichio was forced to ally himself with Wolverine to take back Klan Yashida from Clan Kaishek, and though they were successful, Knwichio felt he had disgraced himself by losing control of the clan in the first place, and he left to become a mercenary again. After battling the assassin Elektra, whom you could learn more about in our Katana Versus Electra dual episode, Knichio allied himself with Lady Death Strike enter Adamantium Clause, and together they tried taking over the Yakuza, the Japanese mob. It was later revealed that Viper was trying to get him to unite the Japanese criminal underworld, including the Hand and Klan Yashida. Kenwichio declined and instead briefly allied with the Avengers and turned on Viper. Seeking to go straight. Kenwichio began serving as the chief security officer for Japan's Prime Minister. After the events of m Day, when the Scarlet Witch caused most of the world's mutants to lose their powers, Kenwichio managed to retain his and Wolverine regained his lost memories.

34:32 While Wolverine searched for information on the legendary Muramasa Blade, he fought with Knwichio and chopped off his right hand at the wrist while rehashing old grievances. Later, a dark organization called the Red Right hand seeking to kill Wolverine went after Kinwichio as well, who died fighting their army. Kenwichio left behind a son, though named after his father, Shinyin, and who went by Shin, heir to Klan Yashida. Shin as a young but ruthless businessman who used his holdings to create the Yashida Corporation and redesigned the hell Fire Academy after Emma Frost left. Though Shin was not a mutant, he did have a powerful advanced suit of armor modeled after his father that could enhance his physical attributes, channel tachion energy into his bladed weapons, fly at mock speeds, and fire takeion blasts. Eventually, however, Kenwichio was resurrected at the mutant island nation of Krakoa, where mutants developed a way to resurrect their own kind. Kenwichio became an efficient for all matches and the combat arena on the island, and that's his history. Powers wise. The Silver Samurai's primary mutant ability is to surround anything with an energized tachion field that he can generate from his body. Though he can channel it through anything, he commonly focuses the energy through the bladed weapons he carries, namely his katana sword and shut kin throwing stars. His energized blades can cut through anything, except, of course, for adamantium.

36:01 But it should be noted that Wolverine's adamantium claws can't cut through Silver Samurai's tachi on fields either. Silver Samurai wears durable metal armor, including a Samurai helmet called a kabuto, a Samurai mask called amngu, a chess plate called a do vambraces on his forearms, pauldrons on his shoulders, grieves on his chins, and an armored skirt called a yuroi. Silver Samurai is a master of multiple forms of martial arts, including kinjutsu, the art of Japanese sword fighting, bujutsu, the art of military strategy, yaiujitsu, the art of the quick sword draw, jiu jitsu, and karat do. While serving under Hydra, Silver Samurai also had a teleportation ring, but I haven't seen him use that in years. He is so much more well armored than Cheshire, who basically barely wears clothes. She does, however, often wear a golden gauntlet, but like on one arm. So I just want to note that.

37:01 Yeah, I think attack and I field could cut through that, So that's cool the tacky and I feel just like white tachyons because it's a fancy science word that deals with like energy moving it better than the speed of light, and it sounds kind of cool to be immutant power, I guess. But it's like, not like his swords move faster than the speed of light. Orb's so dumb with their science words. Sometimes the best way to think of it is like he can surround his sword in plasma energy. Okay, it's kind of like he turns into a lightsaber. It's pretty cool, if you say so. Not cooler than Cheshire and her cool mask that you really you don't think turning a sword into a lightsaber is cool, I'm not going to admit it to you. Well, now that we got their histories and abilities out of the way, let's speculate on how one of the one thousand simulated matches will go. The winner is determined by simulations, not the speculation, but it's fun to imagine how the fight could play out. Alfred Jarvis nine thousand. What are the rules of our speculation? Well, I should say they're no rules other than The characters have no prior knowledge of the other going into the fight. All they are aware of starting out is that the other character is a threat that needs to be eliminated. For the speculation, the contestants will begin approximately fifty meters apart in a nondescript environment that will have no bearing on the match itself, As no environmental statistics are considered in my simulations.

38:22 The contestants must earn victory on their own merit. All right, then let's get into it. Cheshire and the Silver Samurai meet on the battlefield. Who goes first? It seems to me, just from their profiles that Cheshire probably has a more intense villainous streak to her, so I think she'd go first, And she'll start by charging a Silver Samurai and throwing some like well aimed kunai throwing blades at the unarmored portions of silver Samurai's get up, like his biceps, his thighs. But these kunai blades are poisoned, of course, Well, I mean, these blades would have to be traveling pretty fast to get a past Silver Samurai because he's to see the blades flying at him, and with his mastery of yaijitsu. He's gonna unsheathe this sword and slashes the air in front of him in one quick emotion and just knock these blades away to the ground. Okay, Well, by this point, Chester has more or less like closed the gap between them, and you know, while Silver samurais katana is outstretched from his slash, she's gonna do like a running jump flip over him and like kick him in the back of the head mid flip before she lands on the ground and just drives a sigh right into his back. He has armor there. Silver Samurai has like the chess plate backplate kind of thing like that. Samurais where I was looking at an image of him, he was armored in his back. Look at another image, you'll see that it's there. Okay, it is, so the size is gonna bounce off of his armor, and Silver Samurai is gonna flip the sword hilt

39:54 in his hands so that the blade is pointing down and he's holding it with two hands, and then he does a powerful sword thrust behind him, just jabbing it into her. Okay, but she's just gonna like contort to the side and dodge it. I figured. But then Silver Samurai is going to follow up by spinning around to face her, and then he's gonna come down with his sword in this overhead strike. But like size, are the perfect weapons to go up against Katana's, So like Cheshire, she's going to block the sword with her size and tramp the blade in the prongs and then she's gonna twist the handle and just break that sword in half. No, because Silver Samurai is going to realize that his blade is trapped within these cyprongs, so he's going to energize his sword with a techy on field, so when she tries to break it, instead of the sword breaking, Silver Samurai cuts right through those cyprons and then he's gonna follow up with a sidekick right into Cheshire's gut, knocking her back. Okay, so Cheshire, she's pretty surprised right now, and she's going to want to be careful and tactful about getting close to him, which you know, I think will be easy. She's lighter and she's more agile, so it shouldn't be a problem. And like every time Silver Samurai slashes at her, you know she's gonna dodge and wait for him to get like frustrated and try to lunge. And when he does, when he lunges his sword at her, she's gonna like hop onto it and just use the blade like an energized springboard to latch into the air above him. And she's gonna land on his shoulders and just drive her poison to nails, like right into his unarmored neck. Oh shit, it's right.

41:24 Wouldn't she like cut her foot by jumping onto the sword? No? I mean, like it's the sharp end pointed face up. I doubt it. Oh, so she jumped off the dull edge. Yes, okay, she's an awesome gymnast like that. So Silver Samurai got tagged in the neck by poison claws. What kind of poison is this? You know, jellyfish poison? Like he's gonna be dead in minutes if he doesn't like bleed out first from the neck wound. She really needs like one minute to finish this chick off, you know. And as she's crouched on his shoulders, he's gonna grab her and rip her off of him him and hold her in front of him because you know, he's a pretty big, tall guy and he's gonna energize the hilt of his sword and slam it right into her face, just smashing that dumb mask she wears, doesn't she wear like a smiling cat mask, like a Cheshire mask. Yeah, So he smashes her in the face with the energized hilt and that's gonna send her flying back onto the ground with a broken mask and probably broken nose, broken teeth. But as she's on the ground, her Silver Samurai is gonna follow up by hurling a bunch of takeion energized shirtykin throwing stars that slice right into hers she's on the ground, except that before he threw those, she's gonna throw down this smoke bomb between them. So his aim was off, and when the smoke clears, like Cheshire is gone, she ninja vanished exactly, and before like Silver Samurai knows it, bam, another smoke bomb goes off near him, and all he's gonna see is this like broken sinister cat mask come flying at him him the

43:00 smoke before he gets his head like scissor sliced off by twin swords. That's kind of a freaky image. Hell yeah, But when he sees her leaping at him through this smoke, he's gonna defend himself, right, So he's gonna hold up his energized sword in front of him and do this vertical slash, so as she's leaping at him, he's cutting through her swords, her head, the rest of her. Yeah, he just like stands there as the two halves of her land on both sides of him, and he's like, that was way too violent. That was like anime level of violent. What the fuck anime level of violence? But yeah, she got cut in half. I'm gonna say no, because by this point, the poison, you know, had already paralyzed him to a point that he couldn't even lift his sword to defend himself. He's dead if he experienced her getting cut all the way in half. That was just like a favorite drink. He's hallucinating from watching too much anime from the poison. Probably, well, I guess we could leave it. They're either silver Samurai slashes Cheshire in two yikes, or she poisons him and then decapitates them, which is also yikes. But we'll find out which of these scenarios happens by inputting the character stats, running the simulations, and coming back with a winner. Age nine thousand. Run the stats inputting data, running calculations, processing results, simulations complete. All right, I apologize to everyone for the level of violence within that match,

44:30 but you know, they use swords in like blades and stuff like that. I feel like it was like, gonna get pretty bad. What are you gonna do? What are you gonna do? All the heroes and villains should just stick with like blunt instruments and that way, you know, all the damage can be internal and we don't have to describe it. There you go, There you go. But this was a pretty interesting match stats wise, because they really went back and forth, but it was like a tug of war where it seems like no one was winning because Silver Samurai, you know, he had the advantage and it came to durability. Silver Samurai is like a tank compared to Cheshire. Maybe she should put on some clothes, Yeah, some armor, why not? Why not? We said he was arguably stronger and it had a greater damage level, but Cheshire, of course, was more evasive, yeah barely. She was also a slightly better fighter, slightly smarter thanks to her knowledge of toxicology and poisons and you know, chemistry had to make those things. We also said she was slightly more versatile because Silver Samurai doesn't have too many things going for him, and Cheshire, you know, has poisoned blades and she has poison effects. Yeah. Really, the tachyon field power doesn't grant Silver Samurai any sort of extra versatility in that it just you know, allows him to cut through anything. But his sword is already pretty damn sharp anyway. You know, it was the fighting skill one that kind of got me. Silver Samurai is well versed in mini martial arts styles, but we didn't consider him like the highest level grandmaster because it's been stated that, you know, Wolverine is a better fighter. Shuan Chi and Iron Fist are both better fighters, whereas in DC, according to Black

46:04 Canary, Cheshire is only outmatched by Lady Shiva, and even then, Cheshire beat Lady Shiva in a fighting match. That's crazy. So looking at the stats and taking all of them to account, Joseph, who do you think came out on top? I don't know, it's gonna be really close. You know, they're both about the same speed, they both have like the same range and everything else. They seem to go back and forth on. I think it's going to be one of the closer matches that we've had. But I'm gonna give it to Silver Samurai because I think our Instagram poll takers are right. Sixty four percent of our followers on Instagram who took the poll said that Silver Samurai would beat Cheshire. Big surprise, the Marble guy wins again. What is happening? Come on, DC guys, you gotta follow us on Instagram. You gotta vote in those polls. I'm tired of losing there. But let's see how the actual match went. Aj the results, please, Hey, Yuasa, the winner of the dual matchup between Cheshire and Silver Samurai is Silver Samurai. Hell yeah, he won five hundred and eight of the one thousand stimulated matches. Oh wow, so a fifty point eight percent of the time compared to Cheshire, who won four hundred and ninety two of the matches. It was so close, very close, very close, close enough to be almost a coin toss between these two characters. Yeah, basically, which is surprising I feel in what way? Well, I mean, the characters were so different. I didn't think the stats were going to equal out almost as evenly as they did for as you know, durable and powerful Silver Samurai is Cheshire still has a lot going for her. Yeah,

47:36 yeah, I mean I can't be too displeased by these results because they were so close, so I'm still proud of Cheshire. Ultimately, she's a really cool character in my book who has the cooler mask, though they both have pretty dope masks. I think what I hate silver Samurai's mask. You don't like it. It's just like essentially a silver Domino mask. If anything, like the portion that covers his eyes should actually cover like the lower half of his face and be like fanged and I have like this like demonic like smile or something like that, like traditional Samurai. I think that would be way cooler. That would be cooler actually, although he might kind of look like Shredder in that case, and that's a problem. Why, Yeah, I don't know, it's not Shredder is a badass. You might be right.
